Escape of Oil

Oil spills, although most common in domestic situations, can occur in commercial and industrial installations if the correct care and maintenance is not undertaken.

When an oil spill does occur, the primary consideration is for the protection of you, your family and any other person that may come into contact with the spill.

As well as producing harmful odours and vapours, domestic heating oil (normally Kerosene) can contaminate soils, kill vegetation, pollute water courses and contaminate the building structure if not dealt with in the correct way.

By calling upon particular experts in this field, we will be able, through a comprehensive site survey, to rapidly assess the risks to human health, property, third parties and the environment. We take a pragmatic view of specific requirements for each individual project, we look to minimise costs and timescales where possible and always our approach is the specific needs of the customer.

At Tranby Surveying we are committed to delivering a first-class service for our customers across a range of sectors.

We are an independent practice of Chartered and professional Building Surveyors with over 35 years’ experience managing reinstatement of commercial and domestic insurance claims, undertaking one-off surveys such as defect diagnosis, and fulfilling the role of contract administrator.
